Alicyn grew up in Southeast Indiana. She and her now husband, Walt, both attended Purdue University where she majored in Psychology and Child Development. She moved to the Quad Cities for his job in 2010 and shortly after got engaged and married in 2011. Alicyn joined a gym in 2012 and was approached by the group fitness coordinator to become an instructor! She obtained her ACE certification in group fitness and has been enjoying instructing classes since then!

Alicyn and Walt welcomed son, Ellis, in March 2016. With becoming a first time mom, instructing classes and exercising was put on the back burner until a friend told her about Fit4mom! I was so happy I could get back into exercising and spend time with Ellis. She then obtained her Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre Certification! In her free time, I like to travel, hike, and spend time with family!
