Summer Body Back Transformation's Biggest Winner

Our Summer Body Back Transformation session is over and we are so excited to share the awesome transformation done by our biggest winner, Sydney!

If you aren't familiar with Body Back it is our program where you don't bring your kids and you commit to your workouts, cleaning up your diet and taking time out for yourself. It is about taking a bit of yourself back after giving so much to those little people you are raising! It is safe to say that Sydney did that and more!

Here is what Sydney has to say about body back:

Introduce yourself and who you area a mom to:

My name is Sydney and I am mom to two year old Amelia!

What motivated you to sign up for body back?

I’ve needed to make some major lifestyle changes for a long time now but I have struggled to find something that works for me that I also enjoy. FIT4MOM was recommended to me by a friend and I tried the free class for mother’s day and loved it. I have always been too intimidated to join an exercise class, but after I tried the free class I decided to jump right in to body back, and I am so thankful I made that decision. My biggest motivation to sign up for the class was that I want to be healthier for myself and be a better role model for Amelia.

What is the biggest lifestyle change you have made since starting body back?

It would have to be my eating habits. I still find myself eating things I shouldn’t have here and there, but instead of being down on myself and giving up, I just decide to do better next time!

What is the biggest change you've seen in yourself?

I’ve noticed a dramatic increase in the amount of energy that I have now compared to before body back. Another large change has been my mindset towards exercising and eating healthier. I love eating healthier now and I am more active now than I have been in years!

What was your favorite part of the program?

My favorite part of the program would have to be that I felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable throughout the session. I didn’t feel like I had to be ashamed that I needed to do the modifications at times. My other favorite part of body back is that it is at least 2 hours a week that is just dedicated to myself! My schedule is extensive between nursing school, full time work and my family so it’s nice to have this time to just focus on myself and my wellness.

Also, the recipes that come with the program are great and most are really easy to make!!

If someone were on the fence about taking a body back session what would you tell to someone?

Do it! I am so thankful that I signed up for body back. Even if you’re someone who is just starting back at exercising like I was, there are always options for modifications! I learned so much in the last 8 weeks that will last a lifetime! I have a long way to go, but I’m confident that I will continue to see changes in myself with fit4mom and body back!
