Spring Body Back Biggest Winner

Each body back season we crown a "Biggest Winner." It's not necessarily about weight but overall change in health made through a variety of assessments. We are excited to introduce our Spring Body Back winner, Jordan! Here is a bit about Jordan.

What motivated you to sign up for body back? I signed up for this last session of Body Back because I wanted to “jump start” my workout and nutrition goals - I knew I could commit to 2 hours of work outs per week and loved the idea of the support of other mamas. Also, I had completed a session prior to my second pregnancy and loved the program/results, so was ready to get back into shape. What better time than right before summer!

What is the biggest lifestyle change you have made since starting body back? Since starting Body Back, I would say the biggest change has been nutrition and the way I look at food - I am more mindful of what I fuel my body with and am wanting to choose healthier options (don’t get me wrong, I still love ice cream and chocolate - but choose to enjoy in moderation). I love that my family enjoys the BB recipes, too (yes, the food is toddler approved! LOL)

What is the biggest change you've seen in yourself? I have more energy, I’m happier, and I am more toned — believe it or not I gained weight this session, but I lost 2.5 inches! Like Gretchen (one of the amazing BB instructors) says, it’s not about the number on the scale, it’s how you feel!

What was your favorite part of the program? I loved getting to know the other moms and having 2 hours a week to ME! I love the other Fit4Mom classes, but it’s so nice that Body Back is just for moms - you get a chance to focus on YOU and everything else is on pause. So relaxing! I also like the accountability from the Facebook group.

If someone were on the fence about taking a body back session what would you tell to someone? JUST DO IT! Think of it as an opportunity to invest in you - your physical and mental health. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Check out these before and after photos! Jordan lost I lost a total of 2.5 inches and actually gained weight, yep you can still lose inches, gain strength and gain weight, it's not all about the scale. Another highlight for her is she went from 8:15 to 7:00 on her run time in the assessments!
