July Mom of the Month

Happy Hump Day! We are back to introduce to you another amazing Mama Member of Our Village. Abby Y. is mom to young twin girls and has still managed to make time for herself to complete several body back sessions and she even has a bit of a commute to get to classes! We are so happy she is a party of our FIT4MOM family! Let's get to know a bit more about her:

1) Where are you from?

I'm from Geneseo, IL

2) How many kids do you have?

I have 2 kids, twin girls, and also a pup (or puppa bailey as the girls call her)

3) How long have you been participating in FIT4MOM programs and what programs have you done?

I've been participating in FIT4MOM for a little over a year, I've done evening stroller strides and body back.

4) What motivates you to exercise?

I want to set a good example for my girls, I think it's fun, and I love how strong and good I feel after I complete a workout.

5) What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM?

I love the community! I've made some really great friends who understand me and my mom life. And of course, working out with friends definitely helps push me through the tough workouts.

6) What is your favorite thing to do for yourself, in your Mom-ME time?

My girls keep me pretty busy, usually my workouts (other than my runs with the stroller) are my me-time, but I also like reading, singing/dancing to music on my way to work, and drinking wine.

7) What is one piece of advice you would give to new moms?

Cherish every moment - I know everyone says it goes fast, but even on the long days remember this is a short season of life. And always have a good sense of humor.
