FAQ

Do I need a jogging stroller?

No, any sturdy stroller will work. Umbrella strollers are the only ones not recommended. Jogging/Running is optional during class so if you plan on jogging a jogging stroller is recommended, more for your kiddos comfort.

Can I change or put my membership on hold?

Yes, you may. You can put your membership on hold for a total of 4 months during a calender year, and not to exceed 3 separate holds. If you exceed this amount you will need to pay the registration fee again.

We require a 30 day notice of a hold or change policy or a small administration fee will be charged.

How old does my baby have to be to attend classes?

Generally 6 weeks is a good rule of thumb, however, this is more for your safety as the mom. 6 weeks is when most doctors release moms for exercise. You do need your doctor's ok before you can start to work out at class.

Is my child too old to attend class?

As long as your child has a seat and stays in the stroller during class they are not too old! This may vary for each child.

What do I need to do before attending my first class?

Please create an account on our website and enroll in the class you plan on attending. Be sure to sign the online waiver as well. This well help save time for the instructor prior to class. It is helpful to arrive 5 minutes early if it is your first class so the instructor may issue you resistance bands and give you any modifications you may need.

If you are unable to create an online account please arrive 10 minutes early so an instructor may assist in doing so.

Do I need to enroll before coming to every class?

Yes! We have a new online program that allows for online booking. Simply go to classes and events on our website. Please pre-enroll prior to each class and your instructor will check you in when you arrive. This will save time so that the instructor does not have to enroll you at the beginning of class.

You can enroll in advance and also un-enroll yourself if something comes up.

What if my child cries?

No worries! We have all been there, and quite honestly the cries are the loudest to you. Please feel free to tend to your child as needed and because we stop at different stations if you have to stay behind and nurse or change a diaper you can quickly catch up. Fit4Mom is a safe community of moms who are here to support each other.

How do I keep my child entertained in the stroller?

We try to engage the child as much as possible during our workout through songs, games, stories, and movement. There is some downtime and it is recommended that for older children you have a special Stroller Strides bag, something they get only during class to help them be entertained. A small snack is also a good way to entertain the child.

What is your indoor/outdoor season?

We use our indoor locations November through March or April. We stay inside longer if weather does not permit.

We try to be outside as long as it is safe for the children so please dress them and yourselves appropriately.

The winter weather is bad, will we have class?

Our classes at Beyond The Baseline follow the Davenport Schools, if they are closed there will be no class

Our classes at Our Savior follow the Pleasant Valley Schools, if they are closed there will be no class

Any class cancellations will be made 45 minutes prior to class. If you have signed up for class you will get a notifiacation that it is cancelled, otherwise it will be posted on facebook.
